In 1972 American scientist Dr David Rosenhan performed an extraordinary experiment that revolutionised the study of mental health. He proved that psychiatry couldn’t tell the difference between sanity and insanity. Now, in this two-disc DVD set, Horizon recreates this experiment in a search for the difference between the mentally ill and the supposedly sane.
